About The Position
Landscape Consultants is seeking an experienced Landscape Foreman / Crew Leader to lead landscape installation projects from start to finish. The role oversees residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and safe, efficient, on-schedule completion. The Crew Lead guides and develops team members, communicates with project managers and customers, and helps transform properties into beautiful, functional outdoor spaces.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of landscape installation or landscape construction experience.
- Previous crew leadership or foreman experience.
- Knowledge of landscape renovations, grading, drainage, planting, and hardscape installation.
- Experience with paver patios, walkways, and outdoor living projects.
- Ability to read landscape plans and layouts.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to operate skid steers, mini excavators, and landscape equipment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a landscape installation crew on residential and commercial projects.
- Take ownership of project execution, quality, productivity, and crew performance.
- Install landscape renovations, planting beds, trees, shrubs, mulch, and decorative features.
- Construct walkways, paver patios, retaining walls, and other hardscape elements.
- Perform grading and drainage improvements to ensure proper water management.
- Read plans and communicate project expectations to crew members.
- Operate and oversee the use of landscape equipment and tools.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive job site.
- Monitor labor hours, materials, and project progress.
- Train and develop crew members while promoting a positive team culture.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, customers, and team members.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to company quality standards.
