About The Position

As a Landscape Associate, you will play a vital role in creating and maintaining aesthetically pleasing and functional outdoor environments across residential, commercial, and public spaces. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of horticulture and landscape maintenance practices.
  • Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Ability to understand and follow detailed landscape plans.
  • Strong communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in landscaping, horticulture, or related field.
  • Experience operating landscaping machinery such as mowers, trimmers, and small excavators.
  • Familiarity with irrigation system installation and repair.
  • Knowledge of sustainable landscaping practices and native plant species.
  • First aid and safety training certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the installation and maintenance of landscape features including planting, mulching, irrigation systems, and hardscape elements such as patios and walkways.
  • Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, pruning, fertilizing, and pest control to ensure healthy plant growth and attractive appearance.
  • Collaborate with team members to interpret landscape plans and execute projects according to design specifications and safety standards.
  • Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools safely and efficiently to support daily tasks and project completion.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients to report progress, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction with landscape services.
