About The Position

Waste Connections is seeking a Landfill Laborer at the White Oak Landfill in Monroe, LA. This role involves daily responsibilities such as weed-eating and general site maintenance, pressure washing equipment and work areas, assisting with scale operations, and helping load/unload trucks. The position also includes performing cleanup tasks and other duties assigned by the supervisor. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Waste Connections offers stable, year-round employment with opportunities for advancement.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. throughout a 10+ hour shift, move and perform physical labor daily
• A safety-first mindset and team player attitude

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating a tractor and bush hog is a plus
