About The Position

A Laborer safely and efficiently performs general labor duties at a landfill or other company sites, which may include hauling company facilities, transfer stations, and recycling centers. The work includes maintaining work areas and equipment, operating general site vehicles and equipment, performing yard and office upkeep, and assisting with site operations as needed. Additional job-related duties may be assigned. The listed responsibilities describe the general nature and level of the work and are not exhaustive.

Responsibilities

• Clean up work areas.
• Fuel vehicles and equipment.
• Clean tracks on track-type equipment and related equipment.
• Perform yard work, including mowing and paper pickup.
• Operate general site vehicles and equipment, such as water trucks, pickup trucks, sweepers, mowers, and trimming equipment.
• Perform general office maintenance and repairs, including painting and janitorial work.
• Install temporary wind fences as required.
• Direct traffic at the site as necessary.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
