About The Position

BGE, Inc. is a nationwide civil engineering consulting firm offering career opportunities across disciplines for public and private infrastructure projects. The Land/Site Development intern works on a team while learning from and receiving mentorship from BGE employees. Interns attend career-development events and training and participate in intern-specific activities alongside their regular work activities. The position requires availability for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Must be a full-time student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• Strong proficiency with business software, including MS Office, and ability to learn industry-specific software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong collaborator who works well on a team.
• Willingness and ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Work on a team while learning from and being mentored by BGE employees.
• Attend events and training geared toward career development.
• Participate in intern-specific activities in addition to normal work activities.
