About The Position

Stanley Martin Homes is seeking a Land Intern to participate in field oversight activities related to site development and lot delivery. The intern will work alongside civil contractors, consultants, and trade partners to monitor project progress and construction activities. This role involves coordinating with local inspectors, municipal representatives, and jurisdictional staff, as well as developing an understanding of development schedules, construction sequencing, and project execution. The intern will also assist with land development budget tracking and cost management, and participate in onsite meetings related to safety, contractor coordination, and project execution. Additionally, the intern will develop familiarity with permitting requirements, compliance procedures, and site safety protocols, while working collaboratively with internal departments and cross-functional teams. The role also includes assisting in conducting market research and feasibility studies for potential land acquisitions, and supporting the team in analyzing zoning and regulatory requirements, as well as participating in due diligence activities related to land development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Progress with successful Academic record
  • Approaching successful graduation within 1 year
  • Knowledge of MS Office, MS Teams, especially MS Excel
  • Organizational Skills

Responsibilities
