About The Position

As a Land Representative, you will play a key role in supporting our stakeholders in making informed, strategic business decisions by: Negotiating and drafting agreements with partners and landowners related to oil and gas exploration and production activities. Researching and analyzing title documentation for exploration, development, workover and plug and abandonment well operations. Providing land expertise to cross-functional teams including Legal, Finance, Commercial, Operations, etc. to support strategic decision-making on land agreements and ownership matters. Engaging with federal and state agencies on regulatory matters related to oil and gas operations. Managing surface land matters such as access, water, fencing and compliance with government requirements, as well as resolving surface damage claims. Building and maintaining strong relationships with third party stakeholders.

  • Analyze complex title opinions and chain-of-title documents to determine appropriate next steps.
