Weyerhaeuser’s Strategic Land Solutions teams work together to maximize the value of every acre of Weyerhaeuser’s ownership through end-to-end portfolio management. As a natural outcome of our large and diverse portfolio of timberland, portions of our land have the potential for generating value above timber production. Strategic Land Solutions teams are responsible for capturing value through acquisitions and divestitures of real estate and development assets, construction materials, and by creating value through renewable energy and other natural climate solutions. Specifically, the Land Asset Management (LAM) team identifies and, in conjunction with other Strategic Land Solutions functions, realizes value premiums above timberland through the sale of properties for recreation, development, conservation, and other higher-and-better-use opportunities. The Land Asset Management team is looking for a Land Asset Manager in the Arkansas–Oklahoma Region. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking, results-oriented professional responsible for maximizing the value of a diverse land portfolio. You will play a critical role in building and executing proactive land asset management strategies while developing strong, positive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate enjoys collaboration, is self-driven, and excels at solving unstructured problems. They appreciate building consensus across business lines, can influence others without direct authority, and are willing to make tough or unpopular decisions when appropriate. Strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to identify, analyze, and monitor trends affecting real estate markets are essential for success in this role. This position reports to the Sr. Director–Land Asset Management and will be based in De Queen, Arkansas, or Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
