Volta is seeking experienced Land Agents to support land acquisition and right-of-way activities across the energy and infrastructure sectors. The role involves negotiating land-related agreements, reviewing property and title materials, coordinating with project stakeholders, and tracking acquisition progress. Candidates should bring relevant industry experience, professionalism, accuracy, and a results-oriented approach. Travel may be required based on project assignments. Requirements
- Prior experience in land acquisition, right-of-way, or related infrastructure projects.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.
- Willingness to travel as required by project assignments.
- Valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Electric Transmission & Distribution, Renewable Energy (Solar & Wind), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), or Utilities & Infrastructure.
- Relevant industry experience is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Conduct land acquisition and right-of-way activities for energy and infrastructure projects.
- Negotiate easements, access agreements, and other land-related agreements.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with landowners and project stakeholders.
- Review property records, title documentation, surveys, and legal descriptions.
- Coordinate with project managers, title professionals, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records, track acquisition progress, and provide timely project updates.
- Identify and assist in resolving land, title, and access-related challenges.
