The Land Agent is responsible for securing land rights to support infrastructure, energy, and renewable resource projects across British Columbia, with a primary focus on projects in NE BC. This role combines fieldwork and office responsibilities, requiring strong stakeholder & Indigenous engagement, the ability to interpret property information, and meticulous documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and project success. In this role, you will advance projects by negotiating agreements, coordinating approvals, maintaining accurate and defensible records, and building strong relationships with landowners, Indigenous communities, municipalities, Crown agencies, regulators, and internal project teams. Travel within British Columbia is required based on project needs and stakeholder engagement activities. This position is initially offered as a contract or temporary-to-permanent (TE) opportunity, with the potential for extension or conversion based on performance and business needs.
