About The Position

The Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i is looking for a Lana’i Cultural Advisor who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our teams have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required.

Requirements

Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
Holidays and weekends availability is required.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts
Experience in hula, oli, ukulele, lauhala and lau nui weaving, hula implements, ohe kapala, and olelo Hawai’i.

Responsibilities

Lead and facilitate cultural workshops (e.g., hula, ʻoli, ukulele, weaving, ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi) while sharing the history, traditions, and moʻolelo of Lāna‘i
Create an engaging and authentic guest experience by explaining the cultural significance of each activity and fostering a welcoming atmosphere of aloha
Deliver warm, professional, and personalized service while maintaining guest confidentiality and upholding hospitality standards
Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Lāna‘i’s culture, history, and significant sites to enhance guest education and experiences
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces and ensure all materials and areas are prepared for daily activities
