About The Position

The Laminator Operator is part of the Coating Department production team in Springfield, Ohio. The role supports coating operations by handling materials, maintaining product quality, and keeping work flowing smoothly. It is a hands-on, physical position in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment, with varied day-to-day tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly.
• Comfort working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to learn and grow with the team.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload rolls on coating equipment, preparing materials for production and finishing.
• Assist team members in monitoring product quality, including edge trim, color consistency, and width specifications.
• Prepare materials for upcoming jobs, including gathering cores and resin as needed.
• Support changeovers by handling rolls, adjusting equipment, and ensuring supplies are ready.
• Perform measurements and adjustments to meet product specifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Track production details and complete basic recordkeeping.
• Keep supplies stocked so production does not slow down.
• Assist with quality checks and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Provide additional support to the team during breaks or absences.
