As the primary point of contact for visitors, your role is pivotal in delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include answering phones, assisting visitors, ensuring smooth camper check-ins, processing campsite reservations, aiding with rental equipment, assisting with pavilion reservations, and contributing to programming and event planning. Requirements

Must be a U.S. citizen or lawfully authorized alien worker.
High School graduate or GED certificate.
Must be able to type 30 CWPM.
Motor Vehicle Operator's license valid in the State of Missouri.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and carry it a reasonable distance and occasionally lift and/or move more than 75 pounds.

Nice To Haves

First Aid and CPR/AED Certification within sixty (60) days of employment.

Responsibilities

Handle reservations for camping, pavilions, and other park facilities while educating customers on policies, procedures, park rules, amenities, and programs.
Operate a point-of-sale system, process payments, and assist with balancing cash drawers.
Assist customers with equipment rentals.
Ability to work under conditions that require exposure to environmental factors, i.e., weather and hazardous situations, without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of self or others.
Maintain an effective working relationship with the general public and fellow employees.
Assist with programming and general tasks to support City events and facility reservations.
Perform light maintenance in rental areas, the campground, and check-in stations to ensure a clean and safe environment.
Communicate effectively to address questions, comments, and concerns with customers both in person and over the phone.
Maintain inventory for front desk, gift shop, and check-in station supplies, enduring everything is cleaned and properly stocked.
Assist with routine administrative tasks, such as correspondence and processing incoming packages.
Performs all work in compliance with established City safety standards.
Performs other work as assigned.
