About The Position

The Hospital of Central Connecticut is an acute-care community teaching hospital that provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services. The Lactation Consultant will be responsible for the development, organization, and implementation of a breastfeeding program approved by OBGYN and Pediatrics leadership. This role will assist in meeting the needs of breastfeeding families and the healthcare team, coordinate all lactation support services, and communicate with physicians and community healthcare agencies for follow-up care.

Responsibilities

• Development, organization, and implementation of a breastfeeding program approved by OBGYN and Pediatrics leadership.
• Assisting in meeting the needs of breastfeeding families and the healthcare team.
