Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado. Compact RN license accepted. Colorado licensure must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding customer service and patient advocacy.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment while providing compassionate care to mothers, newborns, and their families.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire (12 months for new graduate RNs).
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required within 6 months of hire (12 months for new graduate RNs).
  • Successful completion of a Basic Fetal Monitoring Course within 4 months of hire.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate, patient- and family-centered nursing care.
  • Assess, monitor, and evaluate maternal and newborn conditions.
  • Recognize changes in patient status and respond appropriately.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care.
  • Educate patients and families throughout pregnancy, labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
  • Utilize electronic health records and clinical technology to support evidence-based practice.
  • Maintain compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and patient safety standards.
