About The Position

We are looking for an experienced LabWare LIMS / Laboratory IT Systems Analyst to support laboratory applications, systems, and associated IT equipment within a regulated pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong combination of laboratory systems knowledge and IT/Application Support experience, with hands-on exposure to LabWare LIMS and GxP-regulated environments.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience supporting or administering LabWare LIMS.
  • Experience working with laboratory IT systems, applications, or laboratory equipment.
  • Previous experience within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or regulated laboratory environment.
  • Good understanding of GxP/cGMP, Computer System Validation (CSV), Data Integrity and change-control processes.
  • Strong IT/Application Support and troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience supporting LIMS integrations, interfaces, laboratory instruments, printers, scanners, or related peripherals.
  • Experience with incident management, RCA, testing and technical documentation.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with laboratory and technical teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with additional laboratory platforms such as OpenLab, Empower, STARLIMS, SmartLab or similar systems.
  • Knowledge of SQL and databases.
  • Active Directory/user-access management experience.
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Jira or similar ITSM tools.
  • Experience supporting laboratory system upgrades, validation activities and implementation projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support for LabWare LIMS and other laboratory IT applications.
  • Troubleshoot LIMS issues, system errors, user access problems, interfaces, and laboratory workflows.
  • Support laboratory instruments and associated IT equipment, including instrument-to-LIMS connectivity.
  • Investigate incidents and service requests and perform root cause analysis.
  • Work with laboratory users, Quality, IT, vendors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
  • Support configuration, testing, UAT, system upgrades, enhancements, and change requests.
  • Maintain system documentation, SOPs, incident records, and audit trails.
  • Support GxP, GMP, CSV and Data Integrity requirements.
  • Assist with user account management, access controls, and system administration.
  • Ensure laboratory systems remain compliant, reliable, secure, and audit-ready.
  • Provide user training and technical guidance when required.
  • Manage incidents and requests through tools such as ServiceNow or Jira while meeting agreed SLAs.
