About The Position

Supports tradespeople and equipment operators by assisting with daily mine-site functions and helping prevent potential collisions or accidents. Performs ground crew duties for all inbound and outbound aircraft to ensure safe and efficient flight operation. Secures and organizes trucks, equipment, and sea cans to maintain safe storage conditions and ensure year-round accessibility. Handles construction materials and tools—including loading, unloading, identifying, and distributing them—and maintains work areas by removing hazards and meeting all safety standards. Keeps site entrances and work zones clean; manages salvaged materials; and responds to chemical spills or contaminants in compliance with health and safety protocols. Assists with waste management, maintains pathways through shoveling, plowing, and sanding in winter, and reports any deficiencies in site inventory levels to the supervisor.

Requirements

One (1) year of general labourer experience in a remote camp environment.
Completion of High school diploma or GED.
Ability to comprehend, read, write, and converse in functional English to ensure safe working conditions on site.

Prior work at a mine site is preferred.
