About The Position

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Must have a valid Driver's License
Must be able to obtain Reliability level security clearance
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Past work experience related to Labourer functions, Customer Service, or a related job area
Knowledge of Basic Safety Regulations
Strong communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Requires ability to adapt to changing tasks and locations.
Ability to integrate successfully into a small, multi-cultural and team-oriented department
Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), as required
Ability to work under physically demanding, often adverse weather conditions in remote Arctic locations
The ideal candidates will be capable of working with minimal oversight but willing to follow directions closely.

Responsibilities

Loading and unloading of cargo, materials, supplies and equipment
Shoveling, snow removal
Assisting other trades onsite
General site maintenance, including assisting in maintaining an orderly worksite
Painting and light maintenance
Fueling vehicles
Running errands, processing deliveries

6 weeks in/6 weeks out rotation (48-hour workweeks)
