About The Position

Join the Finning Canada family, part of the world’s largest Caterpillar dealer. We are currently recruiting a Labourer to join our team in Saskatoon, SK. This position is responsible for general labour, components and wash bay duties in a service-oriented environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma (Grade 12)
• Ability to multitask, detail oriented, positive attitude, and team player.
• Dedication to safety.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-starter with ability to work under minimal supervision and contribute positively to safe work environment.
• Computer literacy is required
• Mechanical aptitude with basic understanding of heavy equipment parts and repairs.
• An understanding of the Caterpillar product line will be considered an asset.
• A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator
• Valid Driver's License with successful recent driver abstract, due to safety requirements must be minimum 21 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with Caterpillar equipment or a service-oriented shop would be considered an asset.
• understanding of Finning systems and software programs considered assets.

Responsibilities

• Moving equipment in and out of the shop
• Repair tooling around the shop
• Set up and organize tool crib
• Aid mechanics with the removal and installation of guards
• Oil sampling, lube and oil changes
• Washing and detailing of equipment
• General clean up of shop, yard and machines
• Unloading trucks
• Other General Duties as required
