WestUrban Developments Ltd. is seeking a Labourer for an approximate 2-month term with potential for extension for their site in Cranbrook, BC. The ideal candidate is hard working and capable of working with minimal oversight, safely and efficiently. Requirements
- Strong work ethic and construction experience
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with multi-family residential framing and concrete formwork
- A valid First Aid certification, level 2 is even better
- Ability to operate equipment (such as a bobcat or telehandler ticket)
- A valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Perform a range of general construction related tasks as assigned; this will involve physical exertion, that includes lifting, carrying, climbing ladders and moving materials
- Be willing to take direction
- Help equipment operators, and other skilled labour as needed
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards
