About The Position
American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a Labourer for its Amos site. This is a temporary position with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The incumbent will report to the Site Manager and will be responsible for sorting various types of metals using manual or automated methods, while contributing to the site’s daily operations.

- Punctual and reliable
Nice To Haves
- Experience in metal recycling
- Knowledge of metals
Responsibilities
- Sort different types of metals based on their characteristics
- Prepare materials to meet quality standards (e.g., aluminum cutting)
- Operate various types of equipment and machinery (e.g., forklift)
- Ensure the work areas remain clean and safe at all times
- Assist with loading and unloading customer vehicles
- Identify and assign the correct type of metal to materials brought in by customers
- Participate in shipping activities
- Provide excellent customer service
- Perform any other related duties
