The Labourer supports the day-to-day upkeep, repair, and appearance of a workforce accommodations facility. The role focuses on general maintenance rather than licensed trade work, helping keep accommodations, common areas, support buildings, and outdoor areas safe, functional, and presentable. Work may include minor repairs, painting, grounds maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and support for maintenance and operations teams. Commercial kitchen equipment maintenance experience is considered an asset. The position reports to the Maintenance Manager and works hands-on across the site to address maintenance needs promptly and professionally. The role is based at a remote work location established in the state and follows a 14-days-on/14-days-off rotational schedule, with 12-hour shifts while on rotation. Overtime opportunities are available during the rotation; eligible non-exempt employees receive overtime compensation in accordance with the FLSA and applicable state requirements.
