About The Position

Tower Staff Construction is recruiting an experienced CSCS Site Labourer for a site in Dunholme. This is holiday cover starting Monday 7th December for one week. The successful candidate will act as the main contractor’s No. 1 site labourer and work alongside the Site Manager daily. The role offers an hourly rate above the living wage and career progression opportunities. Rates are competitive and paid hourly via PAYE, an umbrella company, or an LTD company.

Requirements

An in-date CSCS card.
Full PPE.
A contactable reference.
A very good level of site experience.

Responsibilities

Regularly tidy and sweep properties and external areas during construction.
Assist the telehandler operator with unloading deliveries when necessary.
Store materials securely in their designated locations.
Keep weather-vulnerable materials stored outside properly covered with polythene or tarpaulins.
Mark plot-specific goods accordingly.
Work with the Forklift Driver to keep storage containers and the compound tidy and accessible.
Assist with locking plots, storage containers, welfare facilities, the site perimeter, and the compound as required.
Close windows in plots and welfare units.
Clean and tidy plots and welfare areas daily; sweep or mop units at the end of each working week or as required.
Ensure lighting and heating are not used unnecessarily.
Attend to Show Home areas weekly and maintain them in excellent condition.
Carry out general duties as instructed by the Site Manager.
Work safely and comply with the company’s Health & Safety Policy.
