About The Position

Park Paving Ltd. has been locally owned and operated for over 50 years as one of the largest road construction contractors in Edmonton, and we are looking for EXPERIENCED LABOURERS to join our BASE DIVISION for the 2026 construction season. This is a seasonal position that offers a competitive wage with benefits.

Requirements

Experienced Labourer
Valid driver's license
Driving record free of major infractions
Able to pass a medical/fitness exam

Responsibilities

Performs general labourer work: digging, shoveling, raking, hammering pins, sweeping, operating small compaction gear (jumping jacks, tampers, etc.), using a concrete chop saw, and other labour activities associated with constructing the required project.
Placement of construction materials (by hand or use of equipment)
Setup, check, and compact granular base materials to meet construction specifications required for the project.
Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
Raise and lower catch basins, manholes, and water valves, as required.
Able to work long hours.
Thrive in a physically demanding, highly productive, and high-pressure environment.
Possess a valid driver’s license and have a strong drive to contribute to the team's success by working with operators and other crew members to perform a wide range of duties.
Maintain a safety-minded and high accountability work culture while working with their direct supervisors, and other employees while maintaining a positive and respectful work environment.
Must have a driving record free of major infractions, and must pass a medical/fitness exam, as conditions of employment.
