About The Position

The Laborer supports field crews on industrial and power generation projects by assisting with installation, maintenance, repair, and general labor activities related to electrical infrastructure. The role is suited to someone who is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in physically demanding industrial environments alongside skilled trades teams. The position involves working in varying weather and industrial conditions while wearing required personal protective equipment.

Requirements

Previous construction, industrial, manufacturing, or general labor experience is preferred.
Ability to work safely in industrial or outdoor environments.
Comfort performing physically demanding work and lifting heavy materials.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and outage schedules as needed.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
Must pass background checks, drug screenings, and any required site-specific training.
Ability to work in varying weather and industrial conditions while wearing required PPE.
Valid driver's license.
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is preferred.

Nice To Haves

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
Experience working in power plants, substations, or industrial facilities.
Forklift, rigging, or equipment operation experience.
Previous experience supporting electrical or welding crews.
TWIC card or other industry-related certifications.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, organize, and transport materials and equipment on job sites.
Maintain clean and safe work areas while following company and client safety procedures.
Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Assist during outages, shutdowns, and emergency repair projects as needed.
