About The Position
This position provides TEMPORARY support to our Energy Centers. Selected candidates will work up to a maximum of 1000 hours per calendar year. Key responsibilities include Performs a variety of general labor and cleaning in and around an Energy Center on energy center equipment in operating areas and shops. To do such work in connection with operating, construction, repair, and maintenance of generating station property, including use of electrical and air powered tools; operating sump pumps; working at times on jobs involving scaffolding and platform work; the use of hoisting and rigging methods; and similar and less skilled work as assigned. Under direct, but not constant supervision, working a rotating or day shift schedule, as required.
Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Successfully complete the EEI power plant battery aptitude test.
Nice To Haves
- Candidates who have been referred by Ameren's TRW Program Coordinator strongly preferred.
