About The Position

Primoris Energy Services is seeking a dedicated and reliable Laborer for night shifts (43427 APEX) to support construction and maintenance activities. This role involves performing a variety of physical tasks to assist skilled tradespeople and ensure efficient project completion.

Requirements

• Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
• Capable of standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing for extended periods.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all safety protocols.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Basic understanding of hand tools and their safe operation.
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Effective communication skills and ability to follow verbal instructions.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in construction, industrial, or similar physically demanding work environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled craft workers (e.g., pipefitters, welders, operators) with various tasks including carrying materials, operating hand tools, and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and prepare work sites as directed.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring safe handling and storage.
• Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Clean and prepare sites, including removing debris and hazardous materials.
• Perform general maintenance and upkeep of equipment and work areas.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Follow instructions from supervisors and foremen accurately and efficiently.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet project deadlines and goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support project operations.
