About The Position

The Laborer supports Belle Tire’s tire recycling process by loading and unloading scrap tires and helping prepare used tires and rubber mulch. The role is based in a manufacturing/tire recycling center and involves physical work in a fast-paced environment focused on safety and quality. Hours vary Monday through Saturday, with potential overtime. It is described as a seasonal position and is presented as a starting point for career growth at Belle Tire.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Have a valid driver's license.
Have attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Be able to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution center.

Responsibilities

Load scrap van trailers with commercial blowouts and off-the-road scrap tires.
Cart high-tread tires to the air checker or move used tires to the dock for delivery.
Assist with loading used tires purchased for customer delivery.
Bag and palletize rubber mulch.
De-bead and de-rim truck tires.
Remove rims from passenger tires using a tire machine.
Operate tire recycling equipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
