About The Position
Denali Water Solutions is looking for a dependable, hardworking Laborer – Maintenance to support our field operations throughout Southwest Missouri. This is a hands-on, outdoor position that involves operating a tractor and buggy, assisting with field operations, flagging fields, collecting soil samples, and performing general labor and maintenance duties as needed. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working outside, is comfortable operating agricultural equipment, and takes pride in doing the job safely and efficiently. This position requires flexibility, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in changing weather and field conditions. You will typically drive directly to the field, operate a tractor and buggy, and perform assigned field work. This position does not require pulling equipment or hauling materials.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to safely operate a tractor and buggy or willingness to learn
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds as needed
- Ability to work overtime and occasional Saturdays when needed
- Reliable transportation to and from the assigned work location
Nice To Haves
- Previous tractor or agricultural equipment operating experience
- Farming or agricultural experience
- Experience operating tractors, buggies, skid steers, or similar equipment
- Mechanical aptitude and basic maintenance experience
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Welding or fabrication experience is a plus
- Previous field operations or outdoor labor experience
Responsibilities
- Operate a tractor and buggy safely and efficiently in field environments
- Drive directly to assigned fields and complete daily field assignments
- Flag fields and place field markers as directed
- Collect and document soil samples according to company procedures
- Assist with agricultural and field operations
- Perform general labor duties to support daily field operations
- Assist with basic equipment maintenance and preventative maintenance as needed
- Inspect equipment before and during use and report maintenance concerns
- Keep equipment, work areas, and assigned areas clean and organized
- Safely use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment as required
- Follow instructions from supervisors and work effectively as part of a team
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
