About The Position

Denali Water Solutions is seeking an Equipment Operator to help keep our Salisbury facility running safely and efficiently. This hands-on role combines heavy equipment operation, material handling, basic mechanical repairs, and outdoor site work. If you’re comfortable operating tractors and loaders, can spot and troubleshoot equipment issues, and are willing to help wherever needed, we’d like to hear from you. Denali Water Solutions is hiring an Equipment Operator to support daily facility operations in Salisbury, Maryland. You’ll operate tractors, loaders, forklifts, and other equipment; move and load materials; maintain the site; and help keep equipment in working order. This is a hands-on, outdoor role for someone who is comfortable working independently, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and pitching in with general labor. Weekend work, overtime, and schedule changes may be required based on operational needs. This is a safety-sensitive position. Every employee is expected to stay alert and work with care for their own safety and the safety of others.

Requirements

Experience operating tractors, loaders, forklifts, or similar equipment.
Basic mechanical skills, including preventive maintenance and equipment troubleshooting.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Ability to regularly lift at least 50 pounds and perform work that involves bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
Willingness to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
Availability for weekends, overtime, or schedule changes when operations require it.
A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

Safely operate tractors, loaders, forklifts, and other equipment to support daily operations.
Move raw materials and finished products, and load or unload trucks, trailers, and customer vehicles.
Inspect equipment before and after use and report maintenance concerns.
Perform routine maintenance such as checking fluids, greasing components, and replacing filters.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and complete minor repairs to small engines, tractors, production equipment, and trailers.
Assist with basic trailer repairs involving lights, tires, and wiring.
Perform general labor, including lifting, shoveling, raking, sweeping, and site cleanup.
Maintain a clean work area and follow all company safety procedures.
