About The Position

Assist with manufacturing a variety of concrete products, including supporting concrete pours and handling materials. The role involves strenuous manual labor, maintaining a clean worksite, loading and unloading trucks, and following safety rules and work instructions. Work may take place indoors and outdoors and may involve exposure to weather, heat, noise, vibration, machinery, vehicles, chemicals, dust, oils, respirators, and confined spaces. Project timelines and work volume may require work outside standard office hours, including evenings and weekends. Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance is necessary. The incumbent receives general supervision, normally with little instruction on day-to-day work and general instructions for new assignments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Past experience working with hand tools, saws, air tools, and grinders.
• Ability to perform medium physical work: exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly.
• Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with concrete is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform strenuous manual labor in manufacturing a variety of concrete products.
• Support the crew during concrete pours.
• Keep the jobsite clean by picking up and storing tools and equipment.
• Handle and store materials.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Follow safety rules and report unsafe conditions to leads or supervisors.
• Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and drawings.
