About The Position

The Laborer/Flagger performs a combination of construction tasks, including erecting, repairing, and flagging. The role supports construction work by preparing and finishing materials, assisting equipment operators, handling pipe and forms, and performing other tasks with hands and tools. Responsibilities

Measure distances from grade stakes, drive stakes, and stretch tight line.
Bolt, nail, align, and block under forms.
Signal construction equipment operators to facilitate machinery alignment, movement, and adjustment to grade specifications.
Level earth to fine-grade specifications using a pick and shovel.
Mix concrete using a portable mixer.
Smooth and finish freshly poured cement or concrete using a float, trowel, or screed.
Position, join, align, and seal pipe sections.
Erect scaffolding, shoring, and braces.
Perform varied tasks requiring dexterous use of hands and tools, such as sawing lumber, dismantling forms, and removing projects from concrete.
Perform erecting, repairing, and flagging tasks.
