About The Position

Pioneer Crossing Landfill, J.P. Mascaro & Sons' primary disposal facility, is seeking a motivated Construction Laborer to join their growing team. This is a full-time, onsite position primarily located at the Pioneer Crossing Landfill in Birdsboro, PA. J.P. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
A valid driver’s license
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety on the job site
Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Must be organized and motivated to succeed with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not mandatory
Knowledge of remodeling techniques and practices is beneficial
Familiarity with stucco application methods is a plus
Experience in flooring installation is advantageous
Understanding of frame carpentry principles is desirable
Ability to conduct basic construction inspections for quality assurance
Proficiency in operating heavy equipment safely is preferred
Capability to read and comprehend schematics effectively is preferred
Experience in masonry work is an asset but not required

Responsibilities

Assist with onsite construction operations as instructed by supervisor
Assist in remodeling tasks, including demolition and installation of new structures
Support flooring installation efforts, ensuring proper alignment and secure fitting
Engage in frame carpentry activities, constructing frameworks for buildings
Operate heavy equipment as needed, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Set-up signs, cones, etc. around the work area to divert traffic
Ensure all safety rules and procedures are adhered to at all times
Keep the onsite roads/surrounding area litter free
Special projects and other job duties as assigned
