About The Position

Apex Pipe Services is seeking a dependable entry-level Laborer/CCTV Assistant to support its sewer and pipeline inspection team. The role is intended for individuals interested in learning the underground utility industry and developing skills in pipeline CCTV inspection, sewer maintenance, and utility construction. No prior CCTV experience is required, and training will be provided. The Laborer/CCTV Assistant supports CCTV Operators during inspections of sanitary sewer and stormwater systems, helps set up and maintain equipment, and performs general field labor. The role involves collaborating with the superintendent and coworkers, following safety procedures, and working outdoors in physically demanding conditions.

Requirements

Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work, including lifting heavy objects and working in muddy conditions.
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Stamina and endurance to work long hours in varying weather conditions.
Agility and coordination to move safely around construction sites and operate equipment.
Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence in job performance.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Support CCTV Operators during inspections of sanitary sewer and stormwater systems.
Assist with equipment setup and maintenance.
Perform general labor duties in the field.
Communicate with the superintendent and team members to coordinate tasks and prioritize work.
Assist coworkers to help complete project objectives on time.
Follow company safety policies and procedures, wear appropriate PPE, and use safe work practices.
Identify potential hazards and report safety concerns to the superintendent or site supervisor.
Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
