About The Position

Castle Biosciences is growing and looking to hire a Laboratory Testing Technician for its laboratory in Pittsburgh, PA. This role involves sample processing, performing quality control checks, and providing overall laboratory support. The technician will work with equipment setup for staining and imaging, prepare reagents, manage specimens, and assist with inventory and quality management activities. The primary functions include equipment setup, monitoring, and maintenance; conducting inventory checks and stocking consumables; and managing slide specimens, including archiving, tracking, and storage.

Requirements

• At least an associate's degree in biological science (i.e., biology, chemistry, etc.)
• Laboratory work experience required
• Proven flexibility and dependable performance
• All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
