About The Position

Castle Biosciences is hiring a full-time Laboratory Supervisor to work at its Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania laboratory. The role supports daily oversight of the clinical laboratory by promoting efficient workflows, coaching staff, and addressing troubleshooting and issue resolution. The supervisor serves as a communication link between laboratory staff and upper management and provides ongoing support to the laboratory team. The position ensures procedures follow established scientific methodologies and specialized analytical techniques, while maintaining compliance with applicable regulatory standards. This is an exempt role scheduled Monday through Friday from 12:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with flexibility potentially required to meet operational needs. The stated start date is December 1, 2026.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a science-related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory.
• At least 1 year of experience in high-complexity molecular testing (CAP).
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; the company does not sponsor H-1B, OPT, or employment-related visas.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day laboratory operations.
• Ensure adherence to quality management system policies and procedures.
