About The Position
Certerra Analytical – AJ Edmond is seeking a candidate to support its solid fuels laboratory in Long Beach, CA. The core function of the company is to provide independent sampling and analytical services for industries such as petroleum refining, energy plants, and aluminum production. The role of the Laboratory Technician is to prepare and analyze materials for various physical and chemical properties while maintaining best practices for safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to clearly communicate verbally and/or written.
- Must be able to use web applications, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel.
- Ability to lift 35 pounds.
- Ability to be accountable for individual tasks and contribute to the team.
- Available to work during off-hours and weekends.
Nice To Haves
- Laboratory experience in a school setting is a plus.
