About The Position

ALS is seeking a full-time Laboratory Technician to perform laboratory testing while following safety and quality guidelines and maintaining a satisfactory production level. The role involves working in a fast-paced production environment and complying with local and corporate quality assurance policies and ISO 17025 laboratory accreditation requirements. Requirements

• High school diploma or laboratory experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of good laboratory practice.
• Comfort working in a high-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests as outlined by standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Perform scheduled calibrations, standardization, and statistical process control (SPC) tests.
• Conduct routine maintenance of testing instrumentation.
• Complete paperwork used to track tests and their validity.
• Load data for tests performed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Accurately record personal production and meet production requirements.
• Route samples for additional testing as outlined by SOPs.
• Store and dispose of samples properly.
• Comply with local and corporate quality assurance policies and ISO 17025 laboratory accreditation requirements.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
