About The Position
Virginia IVF, a busy and successful reproductive endocrinology and infertility practice in Charlottesville, VA, is seeking a per diem, weekend Laboratory Technician to join our Andrology and Endocrine Lab team. We pride ourselves on teamwork, quality patient care, and creating a warm and supportive environment for our patients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field (BS)
- Close attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong collaboration and team mindset
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
Responsibilities
- Running hormone tests on lab equipment
- Maintaining QC/QA for hormone testing
- Performing semen analysis and sperm washes
- Verifying patient photo IDs
- Entering results into computer systems
- Collaborating with other team members to support lab operations
