Laboratory Technician I (Tues-Sat, 11am-7:30pm)

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree OR Associate degree with 1+ year relevant professional lab experience OR HSD with 4+ years relevant experience
- Experience in a regulated laboratory environment preferred
- Must be able to work as a team as well as independently
- Demonstrate attention to detail
- Working knowledge of GxP requirements
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
Responsibilities
- Completing sample preparation service activities including but not limited to normalized and volumetric aliquots, DNA/RNA purification, DNA/RNA quantifications, PBMC processing, whole blood fractionation, and other client specific procedures.
- Performing and documenting all activities as prescribed in the corresponding SOPs.
- Performing all functions methodically and in accordance with SOPs.
- Independently operating laboratory equipment including but not limited to pipettes, automated liquid handlers, spectrophotometers, and centrifuges.
- Processing and storing biological samples per established protocols.
- Properly and accurately documenting processes and alerting management of processing deviations.
- Registering samples received for lab processing.
