About The Position

AGAT Laboratories is currently looking for two Seasonal Laboratory Technician C's to join their team working out of their Thunder Bay location. This is an entry-level position, working under the Laboratory Supervisor to assist with laboratory tasks and reporting of data. The schedule for this position is a four day on, four day off rotational schedule with the possibility of night shift availability required. This position will be ending January 12th 2027.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Science or equivalent experience required.
• 0-2+ years laboratory experience required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to work in a positive manner in a fast paced environment.
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Perform sample, reagent and calibration preparation as directed.
• Calibrate, operate, maintain, troubleshoot and conduct routine maintenance on all assigned laboratory instruments.
• Compile, verify and validate accurate data records.
• Meet quality assurance and turnaround specifications.
• Follow all Quality Control and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Report results.
• Other duties as assigned.
