About The Position

Eurofins Agroscience Services (EAS) is seeking a candidate to fill the position of Laboratory Technician to work with their Chemistry departments. The largest EAS laboratory with more than 100 scientists servicing multiple portfolios is the center for our biological, toxicology, chemistry, and environmental fate contract research for North America. Successful candidates would be part of a large diverse team collaborating to deliver high-quality research to key markets. Located on the eastern shore of the Chesapeake Bay, this historic small town has high quality of life with easy access to major cities such as Washington, DC, Baltimore and Annapolis.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in relevant field such as chemistry, biochemistry, biology, environmental studies, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or other directly related field or degree with comparable coursework in the above areas.
• In rare cases, comparable demonstrated competence and experience in the relevant area may be used to substitute in whole or in part for the Associate’s degree.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Completes work for research and development under cGMP and/or GLP guidelines for studies, documentation, etc.
• Assists in conducting, monitoring and reporting studies to ensure data accuracy and report quality.
• Provides basic analytical work on projects and studies using a range of analytical techniques and instruments.
