LABORATORY SUPPORT SPECIALIST-PRN
About The Position
This highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding position involves collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to provide optimal patient care. The primary responsibility of the Laboratory Support Specialist is to collect, process, and distribute specimens for testing. The role is based at Methodist Richardson Medical Center, a 443-bed, full-service, acute care hospital serving Richardson, Garland, Plano, and surrounding areas. The medical center is recognized as a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center and the nation’s first hospital to receive The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Pancreatic/Hepatic/Biliary Cancer Certification. It also offers services at its Campus for Continuing Care, including behavioral health, addiction recovery, inpatient rehabilitation, and long-term acute care. Methodist Health System, a faith-based organization, operates a network of 12 hospitals and numerous clinics, providing nationally recognized medical services and committed to community health.
