About The Position

The Laboratory Supervisor (Belv & RCC) role is a 100% FTE position, working Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with additional days as needed. This role involves rotating between UW Health Belvidere Hospital and the Carbone Cancer Center in Rockford, IL. Additional compensation components may include evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college/university.
Successful completion of a NAACLS accredited Medical Laboratory Science program.
Must provide a copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
4 years of experience as a medical laboratory scientist/medical technologist in a full-service laboratory.
MT (ASCP) or MLS (ASCP) Certification required.
Certification must be maintained by submitting appropriate continuing education documentation as required by the certifying agency.
