Work location: Livingston, NJ (on-site) Scope: Perform tasks related to molecular genetics testing of clinical samples for the tests offered by the CooperGenomics laboratory as well as standard assignments of a clinical laboratory setting. This role is a part of the Genomics laboratory operations and involves interaction with other members of the laboratory as well as customer service and genetic counseling within the organization. Job Summary: Performs pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical components of complex molecular based procedures on clinical samples. Additionally, performs tasks associated with clinical cases and operating a clinical laboratory. This clinical laboratory is open 365 days a year.
Requirements
- Molecular genetics testing experience
- Experience in a clinical laboratory setting
- Experience with pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical components of molecular based procedures
- Experience with clinical cases and operating a clinical laboratory
