About The Position

The Lab Services Engineer I serves as a source of expertise in standard testing methods and helps develop new test programs to meet changing customer needs. The role tests and characterizes current and developmental products and has indirect involvement in customer meetings and reports. It works closely with manufacturing, engineering, marketing, and technical functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in process development or engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Proficiency with relevant engineering software and tools.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and presenting findings.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Run and supervise basic test campaigns focused on customer requirements.
• Provide expertise in technology fabrication and recommend process improvements.
• Design test campaigns and programs to meet evolving customer demands and received specifications.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, marketing, and technical teams to support project execution.
• Analyze and troubleshoot existing processes, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains.
• Document and communicate project progress, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and testing best practices.
• Participate in training and mentoring junior engineers and team members.
