About The Position

This is a Limited Term Role to end: 7/1/2027. The Laboratory Services Coordinator will provide timely, effective, and thorough service to laboratory referral sources, hospital staff, patient families, and others based on Children's service standards. This role will facilitate the flow of samples and information to and from reference laboratories, fulfill the laboratory's revenue cycle-related requirements for optimal reimbursement and compliant billing, and serve as a resource for community service operations, sendouts testing, laboratory revenue cycle activities, and customer service. The coordinator will also participate in process improvement efforts aimed at improving the flow of laboratory services.

Requirements

Associate’s Degree in a Science related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
2 years of clinical laboratory experience.

Nice To Haves

At least 5 years experience with clinical laboratory sample processing, sendouts, and/or registration.
Two (2) years of customer service experience in a healthcare setting.
