About The Position
Responsible for the technical operations of a laboratory section, including test development, quality control, preventive maintenance, inventory, troubleshooting, and workflow. Performs the duties of a Medical Technologist, Cytotechnologist, or Histotechnologist as required by the section duties.
Requirements
- Associate degree and MT (ASCP), or bachelor’s degree and CT (ASCP), or an associate or bachelor’s degree and HT (ASCP).
- Three years of laboratory experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee technical operations of a laboratory section.
- Perform test development, quality control, preventive maintenance, inventory management, troubleshooting, and workflow activities.
- Perform Medical Technologist, Cytotechnologist, or Histotechnologist duties as required by the section.
