Laboratory - Histology Tech
About The Position
Our client is seeking a Histology Tech for a laboratory position in Lufkin, Texas. The role is scheduled for a 4x10 night shift. Candidates must hold current state licensure and have at least one year of recent experience. The position also requires current certifications and clinical references, up-to-date health screening and vaccination records, and successful completion of pre-employment, background, and urine drug screenings. Compensation and benefits include competitive pay packages, a health benefit package, travel pay on the first paycheck, an extending-contract bonus, and a referral incentive.
Requirements
- Current state licensure
- At least 1 year of recent experience
- Current resume
- Current BLS and/or ACLS and/or specialty certifications
- 2 current clinical references
- Physical examination within the last 12 months
- TB skin test within the last 12 months
- Titers for MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella
- Respiratory fit test within the last 12 months
- Current Tdap and flu vaccinations
- Must pass pre-employment screening, a background check, and a urine drug screening
