Requirements

• B.S. and M.T., MLS, MLT (ASCP) or equivalent or eligible.
• Minimum of 2 years laboratory experience preferred.
• One of the following: a B.S. and successful completion of an accredited Medical Technology Program
• a B.S. in Chemistry, Biology, or other laboratory based Science and ASCP accreditation or equivalent
• a B.S. in Chemistry, Biology, or other laboratory based Science and 5 years experience in a licensed Clinical Laboratory.
• Good knowledge of health care payment system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a liaison for the Laboratory's outreach, outpatient and research programs.
• Contract development.
• Lab requisition review.
• Customer service.
• Client testing manual.
• Courier service planning.
• Billing review.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Laboratory Services.
